Have you seen those bloggers? The ones who aren’t afraid to pair a bright colored skirt with a striped top and a floral scarf. {Yes, I’m talking to you Shanna!} They mix all these crazy colors and patterns together and come up with an outfit that they look absolutely stunning in. When I created the Six Piece Remix, one of my goal’s was to mix patterns to create a cute outfit that I’d actually wear.
Well, guess what? I’ve done that…twice now! Last week, I started off simple with a striped top and a bright coral starred scarf. I was a little unsure about the combination at first, but was thrilled with how it turned out. This week, I’m taking a larger leap by mixing floral and polka dots. The polka dots are small enough that from a distance you don’t see them…until you get up close and personal.
Just thinking about this outfit makes me happy. So happy it almost makes up for spending 4 hours tonight on calculus homework…almost.
